Electrical Power Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Power Systems Specialist to provide electrical/hardware engineering services to our global business.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide electrical/hardware engineering services to the global business, covering a range of power supply failure analysis and product evaluation for mass produced power supplies.
  • Serve as the technical advisor to build up the Asia Engineering team's competences.
  • Act as a subject matter expert or working towards becoming a subject matter expert (SME) for SMPS power supplies across the Asia business.
  • Engage and support strategic collaboration with R&D, Manufacturing and Quality teams. Aligns with global objectives.

Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge of power electronic converter topologies AC/DC and magnetics design.
  • At least 5 years' experience in design and engineering projects.
  • Proficient in tolerance or worst case circuit analysis.
  • Proven experience with power supply fault analysis and repair.
  • Understanding of manufacturing process, test, quality and change management process.
  • Good reasoning, problem solving, analytical skills and critical thinker, familiar with analysis techniques (8Ds, Fish bone, DFX etc).
