Leadership Opportunity in Early Childhood Education

As the leader of a preschool, you will develop and uphold inclusive philosophies and advocate for the development of inclusive preschools. You will lead in planning and implementing school events and activities to foster a community where children of diverse abilities learn, play, and grow together.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to achieve inclusive preschool goals
  • Clarify and promote organizations' mission and core values
  • Implement policies and ensure compliance with quality standards and statutory requirements
  • Oversee planning and implementation of curriculum and processes to support achievement of school objectives, including child development
  • Plan and oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning
  • Plan and lead in implementing school activities and events
  • Lead, guide, coach, and inspire staff team for peak performance
  • Supervise and monitor progress and achievement of work outcomes of staff team
  • Plan, review, and evaluate staff performance

You will also be responsible for monitoring effectiveness and quality of learning programmes and curriculum, ensuring quality standards in all areas, and working with curriculum specialists to meet consistent quality standards.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a degree or master's in preschool education or early childhood care education, with a minimum 8 years of experience in a leadership role in early childhood education and setting. They will possess adequate knowledge of current early childhood care and education development theories, research, and practices, as well as familiarity with ECDA preschool licensing and SPARK accreditation.
