Job Description

Furen International School is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join their team as a Form Teacher. As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic and personal growth of students.


Responsibilities:

  1. Coordination Duties: Collaborate with student services, discipline master, academic department, and hostel staff to manage attendance and disciplinary cases.
  2. Student Support: Provide daily counseling sessions for students dealing with various issues such as course transfers, grievances, and feedback.
  3. Parental Consultations: Conduct daily counseling sessions with parents via digital tools like WeChat and Zoom.
  4. Reporting and Evaluation: Generate counseling reports, conduct feedback and reviews, and perform in-depth analysis to inform proposed evaluations.
  5. Administrative Duties: Assist the Form Teacher department in thorough documentation, reports, and other assigned duties by the supervisor.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree preferably in counseling or psychology background; or a diploma with relevant working experience (can be part-time or volunteer).
  • Bilingual competency in English and Chinese, with mature communication skills and ability to converse with parents from China.
