Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare specific food items and meal components at your station, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Lead a junior team under the supervision of a Sous Chef, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Follow directions provided by the head chef and Sous Chef, maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Stocktake and order supplies for your kitchen, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Supervise the cooks in arranging chiller, freezer, and dry store in proper procedure, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Improve your food preparation methods based on feedback, continuously striving for excellence.
  • Assist in other areas of the kitchen when required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
  • Assist the Sous Chef in creating new menu suggestions, contributing to the development of innovative and delicious dishes.
  • Maintain equipment and report any faults to the maintenance team, ensuring the kitchen remains in good working order.
Requirements
  • Singaporean or Permanent Resident status.
  • Flexible working hours, subject to the demands of the business.
  • Able to work under pressure, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
  • Excellent culinary skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts.
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits
  1. Performance Bonus: Bi-yearly, payable in February and August, based on company sales performance and individual staff performance.
  2. Relocation Allowance: $10/day for staff working outside their organic outlet cluster.
  3. Commission: Daily commissions based on daily outlet sales, shared equally among the kitchen team.
  4. Allowances: Footwear for work, S$50 for 2 years; Health Allowance, S$150 annually (Body Checkup/Dental/Vaccination) after 6 months of employment.
  5. Birthday Vouchers: S$ kakis App e-voucher (applicable after confirmation).
  6. Motorbike Allowance: $5 per working day.
  7. Annual Leave: 7 days, with leave increment of 1 day per subsequent year, up to a maximum of 14 annual days.
  8. PH entitlement per MOM.
  9. Duty Meal: 1 meal per shift.
  10. Transport: Provided only after 11 pm or transfer between outlets on official duties.
  11. 30% Discount for staff purchases.
Working Hours
  • 5 days / 44 hours.
  • 6 days / 48 hours.
