Job Description

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Claims Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing claims expeditiously, professionally, and equitably within agreed service benchmarks or applicable protocols.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors, adjusters, lawyers, and 3rd party claimants.
  • Train and guide assistants in their support role.
  • Manage and process claims efficiently, ensuring timely and realistic reserve provision updates.
  • Add value to underwriters by advising on issues discovered during claims handling.
  • Visit clients' offices/attend meetings/site inspections as required.
  • Periodic review of files as necessary.
  • Pursue and follow up on recovery claims periodically.
