Instructor - Mechanical and Electrical Services at ITE College East

Key Responsibilities
In addition to your educational responsibilities, you will engage in industry-related projects or consultancy work to ensure your expertise remains current with the evolving landscape of the sector. This role will also allow you to establish and maintain robust connections with industry stakeholders and educational institutions. Regular opportunities for industry exposure will be provided to enhance your skills, knowledge, and professional practices.
Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in the Built Environment sector, specifically in building maintenance or construction, is required.
Experience in the servicing, maintenance, and/or installation of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems, particularly in areas such as Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) Systems, Sanitary Plumbing and Gas Systems, Fire Detection & Protection Systems, and Electrical Systems in contemporary buildings is essential.
Possession of professional certifications or licenses, such as Licensed Plumber, Licensed Gas Service Worker, Licensed Electrical Worker, SCEM, or Fire Safety Engineer, will be considered advantageous.
Individuals with substantial and relevant experience may be considered for Senior Lecturer or equivalent roles, with pathways for career advancement into leadership positions within the Colleges or Headquarters.
