Job Title: Resident Technical Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Technical Officer to join our team at Asia Infrastructure Solutions Pte. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are carried out in accordance with project specifications, design intent, and approved drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise construction works and maintain quality control to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with project specifications and design intent.
  • Ensure that contractors comply with prevailing regulations set up by building authorities and government agencies in Singapore.
  • Inspect materials and workmanship of construction work and perform tests to check the quality of materials.
  • Review project drawings and specifications and raise any discrepancies or potential problems to the appointed Qualified Person and project consultants/clients.
  • Attend meetings with qualified persons and project consultants/clients and prepare progress reports for clients.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Civil & Structural (C&S) Engineering.
  • Ideal candidate should be accredited as a C&S Resident Technical Officer (RTO) by Institution of Engineering Singapore (IES) or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
  • Certificate in BCSS (Building Construction Safety Supervision) or other similar construction-safety certification.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) or similar site-based role for Housing Development Board (HDB) / Land Transport Authority (LTA) construction projects.
