Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Review all project drawings and specifications and raise any discrepancies and/or possible problems before construction work commence on site and progressively throughout the entire course of the project.
  • Supervise the construction and related works, maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the project specifications, drawings, approved sketches, product or system specifications, contractor’s method statements, installation and working procedures and site instruction.
  • Report to the supervising Qualified Persons any work that are not constructed according to the building approved plans, project drawings including shop drawings.
  • Assist to resolve all site issues, including coordination with adjacent/nearby construction sites and report to the respective project consultants, supervising Qualified Persons and appointed project manager.
  • Observe and comply with site safety, and submit all reports as directed and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner.
  • Preparation and submission of daily progress report.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with BCA/IES/ACES
  • Shall have a certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) Course
  • Possess relevant working experience in the related field is required for this position
