System Specialists are integral to delivering high-quality IT services. Their expertise is crucial in ensuring the seamless functioning of internal and external systems, products, and infrastructure.

The role involves providing timely support to clients, adhering to contractual obligations and service-level agreements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating interventions with resolver groups and the Service Desk to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Performing incident and problem management tasks to the highest standards, collaborating with resolver groups for resolution.
  • Identifying potential problems, conducting diagnostics, and owning service requests for resolution.
  • Supporting senior team members in task management, reporting, and coordination.
  • Adhering to industry best practices to deliver quality services and infrastructure operations.
  • Using appropriate tools and equipment for installations, interventions, and repairs.
  • Escalating unresolved problems and maintaining equipment through regular monitoring and maintenance.
  • Collaborating with local suppliers for provision of services and reporting on their performance.
  • Conducting analysis, definition, documentation, and testing of application and system enhancements.
  • Providing onsite support during cutover of services.
Requirements

Candidates should possess a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent field. A minimum of three years' experience with operating systems such as RHEL 6/7, Windows Datacenter 2016 with clustering, and hardware platforms like HP DL360 Gen 9, DELL R430XD, and DELL R730XD is required.

Additionally, candidates should have proficiency in virtualization technologies (ESXi, VMWare vsphere 6), messaging queues (MQ v8, MQ IPT, MQ Clustering), web servers (Apache Web Server, Apache Tomcat Application Server), and monitoring tools (NagiosXI, NagiosLog, eG Monitoring suite). Familiarity with firewalls (Palo Alto 850 & PA-5220), load balancers (F5 BIG-IP LTM i2600), and vulnerability managers (IBM Qradar All-in-one console, Event collector) is also necessary. Unix/Linux Certification, VMWare Certification, and ITIL Foundation v3 Certification are preferred qualifications.
