As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving this success by leading a team of employees and implementing strategies that enhance the dining experience.
- Conduct daily roll calls with employees to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) on sales, service, and food quality to employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of restaurant operations and manage all shifts efficiently.
- Maintain a close and professional working relationship with the kitchen, communicating effectively with Chef regarding guests' requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff alike.
- Manage inventory and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints promptly, providing resolutions and improving overall customer satisfaction.
- Deliver and present operational reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Recommend improvements to restaurant operations, enhancing the overall dining experience.
- Administer and action daily paperwork, including guest report lists, staff rosters, and operations reporting.
- Stay informed about the current business environment, generating innovative ideas to increase sales, reduce costs, and maximize guest spending.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, colleagues, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring clear information exchange and coordinated actions.
- Assist with recruitment needs and provide induction training and on-the-job training for new employees and promoted staff.
- Appraise employees fairly, recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
- Preferably hold a degree or diploma in hospitality-related studies or WSQ certificates in F&B Operations/Supervision/Management.
- Possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Able to lead a team in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Demonstrate good business acumen, results-driven, and highly organized.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
