Payment Innovation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Cards product team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and improve the overall payment experience.

  1. You will engage with large enterprise users to gather market signals and translate them into product opportunities that drive monetization.
  2. You will inspect and optimize network economics holistically, identifying ways to reduce costs and convert them into new revenue streams.
  3. You will work with engineering and design teams to build and execute on a roadmap to enable merchants to better process card payments.

As a Payment Innovation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying opportunities to enrich transaction data and designing ways to transform that data into value for merchants and the broader network.
  • Collaborating with engineering, risk, and business teams to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Delivering improvements to Stripe's cards payments, including supporting more flexible authorization and capture scenarios that meet merchant cash flow needs while maintaining compliance and reliability.
