ServiceNow Platform Specialist

As a key contributor to our ServiceNow implementation, you will play a vital role in configuring, managing, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to ensure seamless functionality and performance.

Your primary responsibilities will include investigating and diagnosing issues, identifying root causes, and providing timely support to end-users by resolving issues and working on tickets as needed.

Collaborating with the ServiceNow team, you will assist in platform upgrades, apply patches, develop workflows, conduct testing, and contribute to solution development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, manage, and maintain the ServiceNow platform to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
  • Investigate and diagnose issues, identify root causes, and provide timely support to end-users by resolving issues and handling tickets.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow team members to assist in platform upgrades, apply patches, and develop workflows.
  • Conduct testing and contribute to solution development for platform enhancements.
  • Monitor and maintain core data on the platform (users, groups, locations) and oversee overall platform health and performance to address issues proactively.
  • Participate in system testing for service request workflows, automations, configurations, and other development work to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Create and update system design documents, knowledge articles, test scripts, reports, and dashboards to meet stakeholder and business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; 8 to 11 years of ServiceNow administration experience.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Knowledge, Role Management, ACLs, user management, and group management.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, GlideScript, REST, XML, and other relevant technologies; experience in ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and report creation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework for service management.
  • Ability to adapt to different time zones based on project requirements.
  • Experience with SOX-enforced policies and working in regulated environments.
  • Certifications such as ServiceNow Developer, ServiceNow System Administrator, and CSM are advantageous.
