Proprietary Trading Platform Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced support professional to join our Platform Support Engineering team in Singapore.
The successful candidate will be part of a team that provides front-line support for our proprietary quantitative trading platform.
The team offers 24/7 monitoring and support for the trading environment, closely working with development teams to ensure reliability, maintainability, and performance of the production environment.
The Platform Support Engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for production issues, support requests, and alerts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve issues/outages as they occur and escalate when necessary.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure successful deployment of new code into production.
- Automate processes and workflows as well as build tools for the environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting applications in a Linux environment.
- Experience developing tools and/or automating processes.
- Experience with supporting FIX protocol.
- An understanding of monitoring and performance management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ownership experience and a track record of delivering results.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
