About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Claims Adjusting Coordinator to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for assisting the Major Complex Loss Adjusting Team with claim settlement, ensuring timely and efficient resolutions.


Job Description


The successful candidate will deliver exceptional customer service by managing a portfolio of claims, working closely with the team and independently. Key responsibilities include:



  • Preparing reports to settle claims promptly;
  • Providing administrative support to the Major Complex Loss Team;
  • Conducting professional telephone contact with insured parties;
  • Maintaining regular communication with the Adjusting Team to discuss service delivery and agree actions for complex claims;
  • Maintaining day-to-day control of work levels;
  • Complying with Sedgwick processes and procedures;
  • Meeting operational targets as agreed with the line manager;
  • Ensuring information and data confidentiality;
  • Achieving objectives set during appraisals/one-to-one meetings;
  • Establishing and maintaining trust with colleagues;
  • Striving for continued personal development and growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should possess:



  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the insurance industry;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Proficiency in PC applications;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to interpret policy wordings;
  • Self-initiative and adaptability in different situations;
  • Effective time management;
  • Strong understanding of Insurance Principles.
