POSITION OVERVIEW

As a premier integrated resort, Marina Bay Sands' Brand transcends traditional advertising. In this pivotal role, we seek to cultivate the clarity, impact, and aspirational essence that define the world's leading brands.

The Lead Brand Strategy Manager will be instrumental in steering projects from inception to completion, establishing processes and team standards necessary to enhance the Marina Bay Sands Brand in its daily operations across all aspects of our integrated offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central hub for the account management team, emphasizing Brand & Marketing execution, while co-developing innovative processes, frameworks, and operational necessities.
  • Act as primary consultants to stakeholders and business units, simplifying and optimizing creative requests and campaign initiatives.
  • Function as strategic guardians to ensure that all concepts, executions, and campaigns consistently align with our brand and business objectives.
  • Foster robust working processes and relationships grounded in mutual trust and expertise across our diverse teams to create a rhythm that promotes both quality and efficiency.
  • Educate and guide our frontline team on effectively safeguarding and directing the creative implementation of our brand identity.
  • Oversee the timely delivery of all creative projects across various campaign tiers.
  • Accountable for the upkeep and execution of all on-property brand materials.
  • Manage and execute our brand and advertising budget, procuring specialized skills, production partners, and creative agencies as needed.
  • Collaborate to shape overarching business and marketing strategies, while delivering tactical executions with precision.
  • Advocate for the business internally, ensuring the agency team remains informed, focused, and passionate about the work and the business.
  • Act as a cohesive force across the organization, partnering closely with marketing, communications, and content teams to translate well-defined plans into effective, authentic branded communications and experiences.
  • Build meaningful relationships, being clear and approachable, as this role necessitates collaboration with every department within the Marina Bay Sands ecosystem, from senior leadership to marketing, design, operations, customer service, sales, and distribution—to create a seamless customer experience.
  • Proactively work to enhance the skills and capabilities of junior staff.
  • Challenge existing directions or norms and explore alternative perspectives and methods in developing effective brand strategies.
  • Assess the contributions and ideas of creative, media, and strategic planning in relation to strategy and Marina Bay Sands preferences.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess experience within a creative agency or consultancy, managing large and intricate brands. They should be adept at solving complex challenges and envisioning the future while effectively driving current initiatives forward.

The candidate must have extensive experience in navigating large and complex organizational structures, with a proven history of managing projects from start to finish, adhering to budgets and workflows, and demonstrating strong commercial insight.

As a luxury hospitality brand, we seek candidates who are well-traveled and comfortable in diverse cultural settings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years' experience with a brand organization or as a brand consultant, or in a related field.
  • A profound understanding of the branding process and the strategic management of all stakeholders involved.
  • A passion for deeply understanding the intricacies of operations and relationships, identifying connections that others may overlook by examining links between culture, future trends, and individuals.
  • An unwavering attention to detail regarding brand execution and an understanding of the scale of operational delivery.
  • A preference for dynamic environments where one can engage, quickly assess situations, and actively contribute to realizing our long-term brand vision through meaningful expressions that enhance the entire customer experience.
  • A capacity to focus as well as multitask, inclined to identify (and seek) solutions rather than problems.
  • A commitment to team success over individual achievement.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to recognize opportunities for enhancement and take initiative without constant oversight.
