Job Description

As a Senior Quantitative Valuation Specialist, you will be responsible for performing independent valuations of complex financial instruments, businesses, and assets. Your primary objective will be to provide accurate and reliable valuation assessments to support mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, dispute resolution, financial reporting, restructuring, and financial advisory services.

You will be tasked with building and analyzing financial models, assessing assumptions and data that underlie the model, and researching industry best practices on valuation models and techniques. Additionally, you will be expected to pitch for new work, prepare and present proposals, lead valuation engagements, and build and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Performing independent valuations of complex financial instruments, businesses, and assets
  • Building and analyzing financial models
  • Assessing assumptions and data that underlie the model
  • Researching industry best practices on valuation models and techniques
  • Pitching for new work
  • Preparing and presenting proposals

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need an excellent academic background with a Master's degree in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Financial Mathematics, or related field. Professional qualifications in accounting or FRM/CFA will be an added advantage.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years' experience in valuation acquired within an accounting or professional services firm. You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
