Valuation Expert

Job Summary:

The Valuation Expert will be responsible for ensuring the accurate valuation of financial instruments in a Global Markets environment. This includes developing and implementing valuation adjustment and price testing policies to ensure transparency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain valuation methodologies and models to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that all calculations performed by the Valuation team are compliant with internal governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide independent price verification for front-office valuations to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Drive the evolution of the valuation ecosystem and reduce operational risk.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in valuation, front office, market risk, or a related quantitative area within Global Markets environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in valuation methodologies, pricing models, and market data sources.
  • Deep understanding of a wide range of Global Markets products and corresponding valuation techniques.
