We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our team in placing orders for essential food and culinary items.

This role involves using company-provided tools to place orders according to predefined purchasing catalogues, collaborating closely with the Receiving team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

You will be responsible for maintaining meticulous logs and updates of daily tasks, identifying and escalating issues such as spoilage, delayed orders, or discrepancies to ensure smooth operations.

As an Order Writer, you will oversee special order procedures, support inventory control, and stay informed of government food guidelines as communicated by the internal team.

You will also provide excellent customer service, maintain a sense of urgency, and ensure accuracy in all tasks. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong organizational skills, we encourage you to apply for this dynamic role.


Responsibilities:
  • Place orders for replenished food and culinary miscellaneous items following company guidelines and instructions
  • Coordinate and collaborate with a separate Receiving team to ensure orders placed are received on time and as ordered
  • Maintain organized logs and updates of daily tasks
  • Escalate any issues encountered with ordering and receiving to the internal leadership team
  • Support inventory control as requested
  • Stay up to date with government guidelines as provided by internal team

Requirements:
  • Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills
  • 1+ years of experience in order writing, buying or similar role
  • Be highly organized and reliable
