Job Opportunity: Linen Coordinator

 

  • Assist in laundry operations by collecting, cleaning, and packing soiled linen for efficient processing.
  • Perform quality inspections on laundered items to guarantee their cleanliness and integrity.
  • Conduct stock takes of laundered items to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Issue and collect linen as required, promoting seamless operations.
  • Liaise with external suppliers for timely collection and delivery of linen, ensuring effective logistics.
  • Maintain the linen room in a clean and organized manner, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Basic English literacy skills are essential for communication and documentation purposes.
  • Ability to climb ladders safely to change curtains and push linen trolleys is necessary for efficient operations.
  • A 6-day workweek, including weekends and Public Holidays, is required for this position.
