Job Title: Linen Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated professional to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our linen storage area.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the linen room and shelving in a clean and hygienic condition.
  • Check correct linen quantity against delivery orders.
  • Conduct regular spot checks on selected linens for stains and tears.
  • Return stained and torn linens to the laundry department for rewash and mending.
  • Document damaged linens for disposal.
  • Ensure a good supply of clean linens and restock as necessary.
  • Perform curtain changes in patient rooms on a monthly basis or as needed.
  • Track special items such as cubicle curtains, window curtains, and cushion covers.
  • Undertake other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum secondary education level.
  • Knowledge of laundry and linen operations.
  • Service-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with basic Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Able to handle heavy loads and lift linens and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to a 6-day workweek with morning shifts from 7am to 3pm.
