Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to provide expert instruction in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to students in a primary school setting. This entails creating and implementing engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Courses Design and Delivery: Design and deliver high-quality ICT courses for students from Pri 1 to Pri 6, focusing on essential skills such as touch typing, internet security, and multimedia literacy.
  • Skill Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of various ICT software and tools, including G suite Education Apps and Google Classroom.
  • Student Progress Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Knowledge Update: Stay updated with the latest developments in ICT education, ensuring that course content remains relevant and effective.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Experience Requirement: Minimum 3 years of experience training primary school students in ICT software and skills.
  • Degree Requirement: Diploma or equivalent in an ICT-related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Google Suite for Education, including Google Docs, Sheets, Sites, Slides, and Classroom.
  • Coding Expertise: Expertise in coding applications, such as Scratch, Scratch Junior, and Microbit.
  • Video Creation Skills: Proficiency in video creation and animation skills using iMovie and Powtoons.
