Senior ICT Training Specialist

The role of Senior ICT Training Specialist involves designing and delivering high-quality training programs to students and staff in various aspects of ICT, including digital literacy, online tools, and multimedia applications.
This is a key position in our institution, requiring a professional with excellent teaching and communication skills to train and support our community in utilizing technology effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive training strategies and deliver training sessions to ensure students attain proficiency in school-identified baseline ICT skills
- Create engaging training resources to support training sessions, such as tutorials, guides, and presentations
- Train students on digital literacy and online tools/platforms, focusing on real-world applications and scenarios
- Assist in ICT-related training for staff and ICT Student Leaders, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration
- Manage and maintain the inventory of AV/IT equipment, ensuring it remains up-to-date and functional
- Coordinate the setup and management of Public Address (PA) equipment for school functions, events, and activities
- Support photography and videography, including photo and video editing, to capture and showcase the institution's achievements and milestones
- Archive, manage, and organize the school's media collection, making it easily accessible to staff and students
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of the school website, ensuring it remains user-friendly and informative
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- At least 2 years of teaching and relevant working experience in a school environment, preferably in an instructional leadership position
- Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent qualification, with a strong focus on education, computer science, or a related field
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Knowledge of multimedia applications and ability to conduct computer training, with a focus on interactive and engaging methods
- Experience in animation, mobile learning, basic programming, video filming, and editing, with a portfolio of work showcasing your creative abilities
- Highly motivated and able to project manage, with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with staff, students, and external stakeholders
Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:30pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break
May be required to report at 7:00am occasionally, depending on specific duties and responsibilities
Service may be required on Saturdays, although this will be subject to prior agreement and approval
Working hours may be changed by the institution with prior notice, taking into account the needs of the organization and the individual
