Job Title: Energy Modelling Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled energy modelling specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting building energy simulations from conceptual stage to design and operating stage, in accordance with local and international energy standards.

The process involves drawing up a 3D model, including façade and shading features, reviewing and inputting active energy systems such as lighting and air-conditioning systems. The candidate will also be required to study and extract relevant details from technical specifications, review and discuss with engineers, and input into the simulation model to obtain the required savings.

In addition, the energy modelling specialist will provide and present advisories on energy-efficient designs and optimization strategies to project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and building owners.

Clear delivery of results, findings, and calculations using graphical diagrams and report writing is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Energy and Environment or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and ability to read drawings, elevation plans, sectional plans are required.
  • Experience with energy modelling software (IESVE, EnergyPlus, E20 or equivalent) is necessary.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is a must.
  • Experience in related fields will be an advantage.
  • Must possess soft skills in presentation.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently is essential.
  • Team player and willing to help each other is required.
  • Strong independent learning capabilities are necessary.
