We are seeking an experienced educator to join our school community in a pivotal role as Learning and Development Director.

Job Description:

This position requires a strong background in hospitality services, coupled with exceptional teaching skills, to inspire and guide students in their learning journey. The ideal candidate will be able to develop engaging instructional materials, create a conducive learning environment, and collaborate with colleagues to support student success.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and support students in the Hospitality Services domain to achieve academic excellence
  • Develop and deliver industry-relevant instructional materials that meet student needs
  • Create a positive and productive learning environment that fosters student growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student outcomes through effective teamwork

Requirements:

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Operations, or a related field, and have minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in restaurant management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is a passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or equivalent certification
  • Prior teaching or training experience in food and beverage or related disciplines
