Project Planning Engineer Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Planning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project planning department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation plans.

The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. You will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project schedules and timelines using Primavera 6 planning software.
  • Identify and mitigate potential delays and disruptions to ensure timely project completion.
  • Collaborate with commercial and project teams to develop and implement mitigation plans.
  • Negotiate improved terms and timelines with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Apply various delay and disruption analysis methods to minimize project risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Building or Civil Engineering.
  • Membership of professional associations such as Chartered Planning or Project Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project planning management for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Services projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera 6 planning software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
