Key responsibilities include managing equipment time and scheduling, liaising with relevant departments for safety and operational guidelines, and providing technical support for approved external users.

A strong background in process engineering, preferably in the semiconductor, chemical, or glass industry, is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience and possess broad knowledge of handling chemicals and special gases. Basic knowledge of optical fibre fabrication is an advantage.

The Facilities Operations Manager will work closely with the research teams and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of COFT and provide excellent customer service.
