Account Opening Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Account Opening Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all onboarding and review requirements meet Bank's AML/KYC standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure relevance and completeness of KYC information in partnership with Risk Management.
  • Perform due diligence checks and information searches as necessary.
  • Review and corroborate KYC information submitted by Risk Management.
  • Assist Risk Management in completing Client Acceptance Forms and related checklists, forms, and reports.
  • Oversight the end-to-end account opening/review process, engaging appropriately and efficiently with stakeholders as needed.
  • Escalate red flags/alerts timely and follow up on client onboarding/client review matters.
  • Prepare required KYC screening lists by documenting and corroborating information obtained from Risk Management.
  • Respond to stakeholders' enquiries in a professional and prompt manner, ensuring proper follow-up until enquiries are addressed.
