Job Title: Part-time Kitchen Professional

We are seeking a reliable and skilled part-time kitchen staff member to join our culinary team.

  • Preparing and cooking food according to recipes and instructions requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Portioning and packing cooked food for delivery and distribution demands efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and storage areas is essential for maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Managing inventory receipt from suppliers requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ensuring proper storage conditions and first-expired-first-out (FEFO) practices are adhered to for each product category ensures the quality of our products.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • The ability to commit on Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays is essential for meeting business needs.
  • Flexibility to rotate between 4- and 5-hour shifts for day-shift crew members allows us to adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Able to multitask and handle busy service periods independently ensures we can meet customer demand.
  • Possess a valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certification demonstrates a commitment to safety and quality.
  • Candidates with little or no experience are welcome to apply; on-job training provided.
