Job Title: Part-time Kitchen Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled part-time kitchen professional to join our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing and cooking food according to recipes and instructions.
  • Portioning and packing cooked food for delivery and distribution.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
  • Managing inventory receipt from suppliers according to established procedures.
  • Ensuring proper storage conditions and first-expired-first-out (FEFO) practices are adhered to for each product category.
  • Monitoring inventory levels daily and communicating replenishment needs to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • The ability to commit on Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays.
  • Flexibility to rotate between 4- and 5-hour shifts for day-shift crew members.
  • Able to multitask and handle busy service periods independently.
  • Possess a valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certification.
  • Candidates with little or no experience are welcome to apply; on-job training provided.
