Financial Reporting and Consolidation Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Reporting and Consolidation Specialist. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process for the listed company and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Group Consolidation: Prepare timely and accurate consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Books and Records Management: Maintain proper accounting records for the listed entity and selected subsidiaries, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately captured.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to SGX listing rules and all relevant regulatory obligations.
  • Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors to facilitate smooth, timely, and accurate audit completion.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and uphold strong internal control frameworks to safeguard the integrity of financial data.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the development of annual budgets, financial projections, and variance analyses.
  • Financial Analysis: Track and assess financial performance, offering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, and managing accounting records—ideally within a listed company.
  • Skills: Strong analytical abilities, high attention to detail, and proficiency in financial systems (e.g., ERP platforms) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of SGX listing requirements, SFRS(I), and related regulatory standards.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the Finance Team and with external stakeholders.
