Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring timely and accurate financial submissions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in consolidation, journal entries, variance analysis, and audits. They will also possess excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with stakeholders across different divisions and subsidiaries.

The Financial Operations Specialist will play a key role in supporting the overall financial strategy of the organization, providing insights on Group financial performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly closing process, including flash reporting and commentary, to ensure timely and accurate financial submissions.
  • Perform variance analysis, review journal entries, and resolve reporting issues to provide insights on Group financial performance.
  • Consolidate monthly Group financial results and coordinate with subsidiaries for timely financial submissions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support finance operations and handle ad hoc financial requests.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification. CA/CPA is a must.
  • At least 5 years of working experience, of which at least 3 years are from one of the Big 4 Audit firms.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with stakeholders across different divisions and subsidiaries.
