Senior Site Development Professional
Description:As a senior site development professional, you will oversee the entire construction process, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion. Your primary objective is to manage day-to-day construction, operational, and administrative activities at sites.
Main Responsibilities:- Reporting directly to the senior project/project manager.
- Responsible for all day-to-day construction, operational, and administration activities at sites.
- Accountable to the client and project manager for on-schedule construction.
- Preparation of weekly planning and progress reports to be submitted to the project manager and client.
- Closely monitoring progress, identifying problem areas, and implementing action plans as needed, involving the project manager when necessary.
- Conducting weekly progress meetings with the project team.
- Coordinating activities of various disciplines during the construction phase.
- Controlling sub-contractor activities in terms of productivity, safety, regulations, quality, and schedule.
- Implementing safety and quality awareness.
- Maintaining site discipline at the highest levels.
- Degree or diploma in engineering.
- No less than 8 years of experience as a construction manager in a marine shipyard or oil & gas industry.
- Excellent management and leadership skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to pressure situations.
- Proactive, possessing good communication and interpersonal skills, able to coordinate with different discipline staff and work effectively within a team.
