**Ethernet Standards Expert Role Overview

This position is focused on leading the interpretation, design, and planning of Ethernet protocols based on our interconnect technology strategy. The successful candidate will develop forward-looking technology roadmaps for the industry and serve as a core representative in international standardization organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of Ethernet protocol standards and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate across departments to provide technical decision support and ensure product R&D aligns with strategic objectives.
  • Build a knowledge system for protocol technologies and cultivate key team talents.

**Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering or related field (or Master's degree with extensive relevant experience).
  • Over 5 years of experience in protocol design and standardization, with a proven track record in leading projects in the optical interconnect domain.
  • Proficient in full-stack technologies of Ethernet, UEC, UAlink, IEEE802.3, with strong capabilities in designing and optimizing complex protocol architectures.
  • Excellent English writing and negotiation skills, capable of leading technical proposals at international standards meetings.
