Job Title: Environmental Health Specialist

As a critical member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring that our workplace adheres to stringent environmental and health standards. Your primary responsibility will be to investigate accidents and identify root causes to prevent recurrence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents to determine their root causes and develop strategies for prevention.
  • Monitor compliance with permits, licenses, and statutory regulations to ensure adherence to established norms.
  • Develop and implement effective EHS communications strategies across departments and stakeholders.
  • Utilize problem-solving tools to address complex EHS challenges.
  • Support site audits for various ISO certifications.
  • Perform regular equipment audits and support workplace inspections and meetings.
  • Track and analyze EHS performance metrics to identify hazards and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in emergency response training and exercises.
  • Deliver EHS awareness programs for all staff levels to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in process safety assessments and review risk documentation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Environmental Science.
  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (RWSHO) certification is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
