Blood Specimen Collector

This is a unique opportunity to join a team of skilled phlebotomists. The primary function of this role is to collect blood specimens from patients, which includes infants and children via venipuncture, finger prick or heel prick methods. This involves ensuring patient identification matches official documents and adhering to test requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for strictly observing pre-blood collection, blood collection, and post-blood collection procedures. Additionally, they will assist in sorting and labeling blood specimens for lab testing. Providing good service quality and customer satisfaction is also an essential aspect of this role.
Other key responsibilities include monitoring and managing medical supply inventory, maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment, and performing ad hoc job tasks or projects as assigned by superiors. In terms of skills and qualifications, candidates should hold a Certificate in Phlebotomy and have at least one year's relevant experience in phlebotomy. A willingness to travel and work in outpatient and project settings is also required. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with being a team player, responsible, positive, diligent, multi-tasking, caring, attentive, and compassionate individual who can commit 5.5 days (including PH/Weekends).
