We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team as a Blood Specimen Collector. This role plays a crucial part in the healthcare sector by performing and supervising blood collection, specimen dispatch, and laboratory testing.

  • The professional in this field is responsible for ensuring accuracy and precision in every sample received, while also adhering to laboratory protocols and standard universal precautions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Science.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in performing venipuncture for blood specimens collection and 3 years of clinical laboratory experience.
  • Supervisory experience of at least 3 years is highly desirable.
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is necessary for effective job performance.
