Job Posting

We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and technical layouts based on design briefs and site measurements.

About the Role

  • Create accurate and precise drawings and layouts from design briefs and site data.
  • Develop conceptual sketches into detailed shop drawings, joinery details, and construction plans for production and site implementation.
  • Evaluate designs for compliance with industry standards, building codes, and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
  • Revise drawings and layouts based on feedback or site changes.
  • Manage drawing logs, version control, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to gather information, verify dimensions, and support the design process.
  • Provide assistance to design and project teams in material selection and specification coordination.

Requirements

  • Degree or Certificate in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, and preferably knowledge in SketchUp.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant drafting experience, preferably in retail or interior fit-out industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
  • Able to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and site conditions.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.
