About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Thermal Simulator Engineer to lead our efforts in designing and analyzing thermal performance of optical transceivers. This individual will utilize simulation tools to analyze heat transfer, temperature distribution, and thermal stresses within these devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thermal simulations using software tools such as Solidworks, ANSYS, or COMSOL to identify potential thermal issues and areas for improvement.
  • Creating and refining thermal models based on component specifications, operating conditions, and environmental factors.
  • Analyzing simulation results to develop thermal validation tests and verify simulation accuracy.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal considerations into the design process.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of heat transfer principles, fluid mechanics, and thermal modeling techniques.
  • Experience with thermal simulation software, thermal testing, data analysis, and statistical methods.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
