Job Role:

The Project Security Specialist will be responsible for providing advisory and guidance to application teams in their preparations for compliance verifications and audits.

The specialist will also conduct regular compliance verifications to ensure applications meet necessary processes, standards, and controls to comply with policies.

The Project Security Specialist will develop protocols and documentation for maintaining compliance standards.

Additionally, the specialist will lead and manage the compliance onboarding process with application teams to ensure they meet planned schedules.

The Project Security Specialist will work closely with engineering departments to identify areas for improvement and solve problems.

Further, the specialist will develop and maintain management reporting dashboards using data analytical tools such as Power BI.



Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of technical and/or project management experience in IT Operations, Support, Governance, and Compliance.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and facilitate collaboration between teams across departments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address compliance challenges and security risk issues.
  • Knowledge of government IT security policies and processes is essential.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide advisory and guidance to application teams in their preparations for compliance verifications and audits.
  2. Conduct regular compliance verifications to ensure applications meet necessary processes, standards, and controls to comply with policies.

Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge and technical skills in data analysis tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Technical proficient in managing/understanding account setups and interfaces in Windows Active Directory Domain, RHEL Linux, PIM, PAM, Cloud AD, and AWS IAM integration.
