We are seeking a skilled Trade Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about international trade and logistics.

Job Description:

The Trade Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the preparation and issuance of import and export documentation in compliance with specific requirements of each shipment and/or associated Letters of Credit.

  • Closely collaborate with the Trading and Shipping Departments to coordinate seaborne deliveries.
  • Manage daily communication with suppliers, customers, shipping agents, banks, surveyors, and other relevant parties to address documentation requirements for cross-border shipments, both on the purchase and sales sides.
  • Ensure timely preparation and issuance of all cargo-related documents required for the importation of goods into the destination country.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed as a Trade Logistics Coordinator, you will need:

  • A university degree in Logistics, International Trade, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in international trade operations, ideally within import/export departments, shipping or freight forwarding companies, or financial institutions.
  • Solid understanding of export/import processes, including shipping documentation, documentary credits, and bank guarantees.
  • Working knowledge of key trade and finance frameworks such as UCP 600, ISBP 745, ISP 98, URC 522, Incoterms 2020, Bill of Lading terms, and international invoicing standards.
  • Advanced to upper-intermediate proficiency in English; proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Mandarin will be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and results-driven, with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills combined with a professional and composed demeanor.
