Job Title: R&D Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new processes and technologies to improve the performance and efficiency of our products.

Your primary focus will be on developing novel and commercial precursors for semiconductor applications, including thin film growth using Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). You will also conduct feasibility studies and concept development to identify new opportunities for process improvement.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will work closely with business unit teams and clients to optimize and scale up deposition processes. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, execute project deliverables, and prioritize activities to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives.

You will have the opportunity to engage in trouble shooting for root causes to project developments obstacles and implement proposed solutions to problems. Your role will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing novel and commercial precursors for semiconductor applications
  • Conducting feasibility studies and concept development to identify new opportunities for process improvement
  • Collaborating with business unit teams and clients to optimize and scale up deposition processes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. Degree in Materials Science and Physics, Chemistry, or Engineering
  • Good fundamental knowledge and working experience in ALD/CVD, Thin Film Deposition Principles & Semiconductor Device Fabrication
  • Experience in Si and Metal Precursor-based ALD/CVD techniques, characterization and fabrication techniques for 2D devices and Si Photonics is highly preferred
  • Good knowledge of chemistry and chemical reactions in thermal/plasma environment and at interfaces
