Generalist HR Professional Opportunity

This is a dynamic position for a skilled and proactive HR professional. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of labor laws, experience in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development processes.

The Generalist HR role encompasses various responsibilities including:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment process, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, reference checks, and generate employment contracts. Facilitate comprehensive onboarding for new hires, oversee orientation programs, and ensure necessary documentation.
  • Performance Management: Support the implementation and administration of the performance appraisal system, manage monthly employee confirmation process, ensuring timely completion of appraisals by supervisors.
  • HR Administration: Maintain precise and current employee records, administer monthly payroll process, collect and verify timesheets, track leave, overtime, and other adjustments, administer mandatory employee medical check-ups, and manage insurance claims.
  • Offboarding: Oversee end-to-end offboarding process for all departures, secure return of company assets, coordinate revocation of system access, and perform assigned duties.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Diploma with extensive experience considered).
  • Minimum 4 years progressive experience in human resources role, with generalist experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience within retail industry highly desirable.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, payroll processing procedures.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to ensure full compliance with labor laws and maintain impeccable records.
