Job Description
  • We require a skilled Pastry Chef with a strong background in managing high-volume pastry kitchens, ensuring consistency and presentation across all products.

This role will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, conducting regular quality control checks, and mentoring junior staff to achieve efficiency and maintain high standards of quality.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have experience working in a luxury hotel environment, and demonstrate a passion for pastry cuisine, particularly Japanese pastries.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
  • Strong expertise in pastry cuisine, with specialization in Japanese pastries preferred
  • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Proven ability to manage cost control and lead a team independently
  • Creative and innovative approach to pastry artistry, with sugar and chocolate work highly desirable
