Business Development Representative

The role of Business Development Representative is pivotal in driving clients' expansion into the Asia-Pacific market.

  • Top-of-funnel outreach is key to identifying and qualifying high-value leads for our sales team.
  • A strong pipeline requires persistence, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospecting & Outreach: Conduct thorough research on target accounts using industry tools and execute multi-channel outreach strategies.
  • Lead Qualification: Assess prospects using established frameworks and schedule discovery meetings with enterprise sales teams.
  • Crm Reporting: Maintain accurate pipeline data and track KPIs to ensure consistent reporting to leadership.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with APAC market trends and provide valuable insights to internal teams.
  • Event Participation: Represent at industry events to build networks and identify new opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Experience & Background:
    • 2+ years in business development or sales preferably in B2B SaaS, fintech, cybersecurity, or enterprise tech.
    • Proven experience in cold calling, outbound email, and LinkedIn outreach with senior stakeholders.
    • Prior exposure to Asia-Pacific markets and familiarity with banking/fintech regulatory nuances is beneficial.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Excellent communication and sales copywriting skills.
    • Hands-on expertise with Pipedrive (or similar CRM), Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email sequencing tools.
    • Analytical mindset with ability to identify patterns in buyer behavior.
  • Knowledge & Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Success Measures:
    • Consistent contribution to sales pipeline.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of client's products, target industries, and customer pain points.
    • Effective collaboration with enterprise sales and internal teams.
