Infection Control Specialist

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in infection control within the National Health Service.
Main Responsibilities:- You will be involved in designing and implementing an infection prevention programme.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and management of change.
- Support the delivery of an on-call service within the department.
- A minimum of 6 years' experience at Band 6 level or above in infection control.
- Possession of a specialist nursing qualification or postgraduate degree in infection control.
- A proactive approach to challenges and tasks.
The ideal candidate should possess strong organisational skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. They should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality when required. A flexible approach to working hours is essential for this position.
