Job Description

The Personalised Performance Coach plays a vital role in delivering high-quality fitness services to members.

You will be responsible for providing tailored guidance, ensuring safe use of facilities, and enhancing the overall wellness experience for our members.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the gym.
  • Be attentive on the gym floor and initiate member orientation.
  • Communicate effectively and advocate for fitness.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and attention to detail in scheduling and tracking progress.
  • Able to utilise and implement new technology, equipment, and techniques.
  • Demonstrate proper equipment usage and correct members' form during exercises.
  • Record and track monthly attendance chart.
  • Ensure full operation and safety of equipment/machines and raise requisition if need to repair, replace, or purchase new equipment/machines.
  • Work with the team to implement strategies to attract, retain, and grow the member base.
  • Able to build relationships with members.
  • Excellent customer service; energetic, enthusiastic, motivational Team Player.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Contribute to building a great culture in the club.
  • Willingsness to step out of comfort zone to achieve excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications


• Diploma in Sports & Exercise Science or Nitec in Fitness Training or possess ACE-CPT, FISAF, or Fitness Instructor Certification (FIC)


• Possess a valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator card (AED) Standard First Aid


• Any other fitness-related certifications will be an added advantage


• Passion for health and fitness


• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with members, staff, and stakeholders


• Able to adapt to busy and fast-moving environment


• Previous experience in a fitness club or hospitality environment preferred


• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays


• Proactive, self-motivated, and with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
