**Store Design Manager**

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of store layouts, fixtures, and vendor relationships. This includes managing the execution of store designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop test fits for new locations, and ensuring that design supports and enhances brand marketing.

Additional responsibilities include managing initial and ongoing design elements such as fixturing, lighting, and store design based on key business learnings, supporting senior managers in developing project management timelines, design budgets, and communications to relevant stakeholders, and facilitating vendor relationships including contracts, budgets & timelines.

This role requires a strong skill set in fixture design, procurement, and ongoing fixture program maintenance, as well as experience with retail prototyping, testing, and vendor relations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 years in retail design, store planning, architectural prototype design, or architectural project management.

• Degree in architecture, interior design, and industrial design preferred.

• Boston-based position.

• Strong business management skills; demonstrated ability to create and lead projects.

• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time.

• Experience with retail prototyping, testing, and vendor relations.
