Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive business growth and expansion in the software industry. This role involves developing strategies to identify new opportunities, manage sales pipelines, and negotiate deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand our footprint in public and private sectors.

  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closure.

  • Drive enterprise software deals with a focus on large-scale contracts.

  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and technical teams.

  • Ensure proper documentation of deal terms and pricing structures.

Pre-Sales & Bid Management
  • Lead responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, ensuring accurate and compliant submissions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling business proposals.

  • Conduct cost estimation, solutioning, and risk analysis for tenders and proposals.

  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations to potential clients.

  • Attend industry events to build partnerships and gather market intelligence.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years in sales, business development, or account management within the technology industry.

  • Deal Size: Proven track record of successfully closing large-scale deals.

  • Industry Network: Established relationships within government agencies, financial services, or other large enterprises.

  • Technical Acumen: Background in software development or system integration is an advantage.

  • Sales & Bidding Expertise: Experience managing RFP/RFQ responses and proposal writing.

  • Communication & Negotiation: Strong ability to communicate complex solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Attributes
  • Project Delivery Exposure: Hands-on experience with project management or software delivery.

  • Experience working in agile software development environments.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in deal structuring and pre-sales support.

  • Willingness to travel for business development and client engagements.
