We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Financial Trader Specialist. As a Financial Trader Specialist, you will be responsible for executing trades on behalf of our Portfolio Managers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining awareness of regional market developments and identifying trading opportunities.
- Providing market color and flows to the trading desk and Portfolio Managers on specific stock or index price movements throughout the day.
- Collaborating with operations, compliance, technology, and portfolio finance teams to handle trading-related tasks that facilitate book-keeping and audit trails.
- Developing and implementing tools to streamline trading processes using Excel and Python programming languages.
- Supporting the Asia Trading team in monitoring and executing equities trades.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or a technical field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or Engineering from a reputable university.
- At least 3 years of experience in an equity trader/trade assistant function from the buy-side or sell-side.
- Relevant coding skills and knowledge of using AI-related applications in Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
