Job Title: Barista Lead

Overview

As a skilled and dedicated coffee professional, we are seeking a talented Barista Lead to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading by example, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring that every cup of coffee meets the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain and calibrate coffee equipment to produce consistent and high-quality coffee.
  • Promote excellent levels of customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Conduct training sessions for junior staff members.
  • Manage stock effectively, including ordering and storage of products, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform cashier duties and take orders from customers.
  • Maintain equipment and report any issues or needs for servicing or repair.
Requirements
  • Be service-driven, outgoing, and friendly.
  • Have basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Be a team player with a good learning attitude and a keen interest in developing professionally in the specialty coffee industry.
  • Exhibit attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated and possess good people skills.
